RESOLUTION NO. 2018-040
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR LAKE JOHANNA STATION 1 AT 3246 NEW BRIGHTON ROAD TO
THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR REVIEW
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills 2030 Comprehensive Plan was officially adopted by the City
Council on September 28, 2009; and
WHEREAS, on May 29, 2018, the City Council considered an application from Journey
Home Minnesota for an amendment to the Arden Hills 2030 Comprehensive Plan to change the
future land use designation of the property located at 3246 New Brighton Road from Public and
Institutional to Very Low Density Residential; and
WHEREAS, on May 29, 2018, the City Council approved the proposed Comprehensive Plan
Amendment application for Lake Johanna Station 1 at 3246 New Brighton Road, subject to review by
the Metropolitan Council pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §473.864; and
NOW THERE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS,
MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. City Staff is directed to submit the Comprehensive Plan Amendment Application for Lake
Johanna Station 1 at 3246 New Brighton Road to the Metropolitan Council for review.
ADOPTED this 1 I" day of June, 2018, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills.
