SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO.2019-003
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, LICENSE
AND REGULATIONS, SECTION 350 TOBACCO
PRODUCTS OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY CODE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on March 25, 2019, Ordinance No. 2019-003 was
adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No.
2019-003, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the City Council
amends Arden Hills City Code Chapter 3, License and Regulations, Section 350, Tobacco
Products by raising the minimum age of licensees from 18 to 21 years of age; raising the
minimum age of individuals to whom licensed products may be sold or for whom licensed
products may be procured from 18 to 21 years of age; prohibiting the sale of flavored products;
repealing crimes of possession and use of tobacco products; and increasing the fine for first and
second violations of the prohibition on sales to underage persons.
A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during
the City's regular office hours or on the City's website.
APPROVED for publication by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, this 25" day of March, 2019.
