There will be no separate discussion of these items, unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event, the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered separately in its normal sequence on the agenda. DATE: April 15, 2019 TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers FROM: Dave Perrault, City Administrator SUBJECT: Authorization to Appoint Public Works Maintenance Worker Positions Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: N/A N/A N/A Council Should Consider The Council should consider making the following appointments: -Joseph Fairbanks to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at Step Three in the Union Contract pay scale, all other benefits will begin at “Year 0”. -Tim Beebe to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at Step Three in the Union Contract pay scale, all other benefits will begin at “Year 0”. Background The City of Arden Hills currently has two vacancies for Public Works Maintenance Worker positions in the Public Works Department. Following a recruitment for the positions, Joseph Fairbanks and Tim Beebe have been identified as the best applicants, and staff is requesting that the City Council officially approve these appointments.
