Council Should Consider
The Council should consider making the following appointments:
-Joseph Fairbanks to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at Step Three in the
Union Contract pay scale, all other benefits will begin at “Year 0”.
-Tim Beebe to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker at Step Three in the Union
Contract pay scale, all other benefits will begin at “Year 0”.
Background
The City of Arden Hills currently has two vacancies for Public Works Maintenance Worker
positions in the Public Works Department. Following a recruitment for the positions, Joseph
Fairbanks and Tim Beebe have been identified as the best applicants, and staff is requesting that
the City Council officially approve these appointments. These are union positions and fall under
the collective bargaining agreement and the City’s personnel policy.
