RESOLUTION NO.2019-020
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE COLLEEN AVENUE DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Colleen Avenue Drainage
Improvements Project,bids were received,opened,and tabulated according to the law,and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Pember Companies, Inc. $250,247.00
G.F. Jedlicki, Inc. $254,978.00
Asphalt Surface Technologies Corp. $299,463.25
Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $367,877.54
New Look Contracting, Inc. $444,078.15
Meyer Contracting, Inc. $446,393.92
WHEREAS, it appears that Pember Companies, Inc. of Menomonie, Wisconsin, is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS,MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
with Pember Companies, Inc. Menomonie, Wisconsin in the name of the City of Arden Hills for
the Collen Avenue Drainage Improvements Project according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids,except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder'
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY O ARDEN HILLS THIS 10TH
DAY OF JUNE,2019.
