RESOLUTION NO. 2020-048
RESOLUTION AWARDING HVAC PROJECT TO AIR EXPRESSS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the City Hall HVAC project, bids
were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law; and
WHEREAS, Paulson and Clark, the City's consultant, reviewed and tabulated the bids;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that Air Express, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder at
$280,783.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, that:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Air Express, Inc. in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the City Hall HVAC project in
the amount of$280,783.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
12 DAY OF OCTOBER,2020.
