RESOLUTION NO. 2021-018
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE KARTH LAKE RUNOFF CONTROL PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Karth Lake Runoff Control
Project, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:
Pember Companies, Inc. $125,273.50
Lametti & Sons, Inc. $135,960.00
Vinco Inc. $163,450.00
Northdale Construction Co. $227,086.50
and;
WHEREAS, it appears that Pember Companies, Inc. of Menomonie, Wisconsin, is the
lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, that:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Pember Companies, Inc. Menomonie, Wisconsin in the name of the City of
Arden Hills for the Karth Lake Runoff Control Project according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder` shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
12TH DAY OF APRIL, 2021.
