Home My WebLink About2021-022 AR EN HILLS CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2021-022 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE SNELLING AVENUE NORTH AND COUNTY ROAD E STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2019-026 of the Council adopted August 26, 2018, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the following streets: Snelling Avenue North from Trunk Highway 51 to County Road E Cummings Lane Bussard Court from Snelling Avenue North to 100-Feet West of Snelling Avenue North Intersection of Snelling Avenue North and County Road E WHEREAS, and this report was received by the Council on April 12, 2021; and WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of April, 2021, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
