RESOLUTION NO. 2021-025
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SNELLING AVENUE NORTH AND COUNTY ROAD E
STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, on April 12, 2021,the City Council adopted Resolution 2021-022, ordering a
public hearing on the proposed improvement of the following streets:
Snelling Avenue North from Trunk Highway 51 to County Road E
Cummings Lane
Bussard Court from Snelling Avenue North to 100-Feet West of Snelling Avenue North
Intersection of Snelling Avenue North and County Road E
and;
WHEREAS,ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given,
and the hearing was held on April 26, 2021, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given
an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility
report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the feasibility report as Area 1,
Alternative 2.
3. The City of Arden Hills Engineering Department is hereby designated as the engineer
for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 26th
DAY OF April, 2021.
