RESOLUTION NO. 2O2I-034
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AI\D AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE LIFT STATION 10 REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Lift Station l0 Rehabilitation
Project, bids were received, opened, ffid tabulated according to the law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:
Vinco Inc.
Pember Companies, Inc.
Minger Construction
CCS Contracting, Inc.
Penn Contracting, Inc.
s 130,700.00
$ 134,750.00
$ 145,000.00
$ 148,400.00
$249,500.00
and
WHEREAS, it appears that Vinco, Inc. of Forest Lake, Minnesota, is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, that:
l. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authonzed and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Vinco, Inc. Forest Lake, Minnesota in the name of the City of Arden Hills
for the Lift Station l0 Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidderi shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
