Hartmark. i - Cardiac Pacemakers Dedication - Agreement has beer, reached with Cardiac Pacemakers for a cash dedication of $30 ,677 .00 , to be paid on occupancy of the buildings in phase 2 of construction , since no additional land is needed In this area. Sub-Committee Formation Chairman Blomquist reported that she had met with J . Buckley to ' discuss goals and alms of the Parks and Recreation Committees . Their conclusion was that the most efficient way to establish these would be the establishment of sub-committees to explore various areas thoroughly , and report to the entire committee . Accordingly, she appointed : Budget R. O'Toole , Convener, report by July 1 . Site Development S . Hustings , Convener, report by July 1 . Park Improvement Book C. Grudnoske, report by fall . Program T . Glaros , report by July 1 . Bikeways B. Schiotthauer Other eommitxee members were requested to Join the sub-committee of their choice. A member of the Planning Commission will be asked to work with the Site Development Sub-Committee . Other citizen Involvement may be requested on program and bikeways • sub -committees . R. O'Toole was asked to explain at the April meeting of the entire committee the steps and philosophy in budget preparation . Bike Trails The Council has requested Ramsey County to re-stripe the same bike trails as were striped in Arden Hi I is lass' year. A detailed sketch snowing the routes and types of trails recommended throughout Arden Hills by the Bikeways Sub-Committee was ex- plained by J . Buckley . Committee requested copies of' this map , so they could study it and be prepared to make further reco mmenda- t€ons in April . Tax Forfeited Land - Lot 10, Block 5 , Arden Hills Councilman Crichton reported that this lot , which had been open spac3 owned b,c the City of Arden Hills, had been returned o the County for re-sale for home building. North Suburban Day Activity Center The $408.00 in the 1977 budget had In previous years been zonated to SPARC ( Roseville 's retarded children camping program) and North Suburban Day Activity Center. After discussion , it was moved by J . Moore , seconded by B. Schlotthauer, That the Parks and Recreation Committee recommend to the Council that the entire amount be donated to the North Suburban Day Activity Center. • Unanimously approved. Adjournment It was moved by B. Schlotthauer, seconded by J . Moore , that the meeting be adjourned at 9 :30 p.m. Motion carried unanimously . Submitted by Shirley Marshall .
