Uso Present: Councilmen Charles Crichton and William Feyereisen and Park Director, John Buckley. About 35 neighborhood residents atte-tided-nded this naeting. The meeting began. Fait? Robert 1,ijzdergon introducing John Buckley. Buckley pi-oceaded to explain the --hi3tory, basic philosophy and intent of the Arden Hills Park Committee and continued with the history of Floral Park. R. Anderson then presented the three concept plans for Floral Park, prepared I - by the University students. The meeting was then opened for questions and conments from the residents. Some concerne of the residents: - Provisions for policing park as development proceeds. • - Concerned about park access; wanted major access off Hamline to elim-inatt, tra1ftc from Floral Park neighborhood. - Opposed to large parking lots and roadway through park. - Concern that development would dectrcy marsh area in park.
