Beggin . Roll Call Present: G. Beggin K. Boss, R. Cadwel , M. Cronin , C . Grudnoske, P. Lindquist, and J . McTavish Absent : R. Anderson , M. Blomquist, M. Erickson , G. McCauley, and M. McIntosh Also Present: Park; Director J . Buckley , Councilman Crichton Approval of Minutes A motion was made by K. Boss , seconded by G . McTavish, that the minutes of the October 21 meeting be approved as mailed . Motion carried unanimously . Council Report • Councilman Crichton reported that dedication funds in the amount of $ 10, 700. 00- had been received from dedication from Carlson , Ludlow, Feyereisen and McDonalds. Planning Commission Rep rtt There was no report from the Planning Commission . Report on Five Year -Site Improvement Plan The information has been gathered , and the commis"toe expects to have this completed in early December. Maps of the park areas and historical data about them will be inciuded . More pictures or information wou i d be desired, as well as ideas on further development. Other Business - Councilman Crichton asked that those interested in continuing to serve on this committee, or in serving on some other V i 1 l age committee contact him. K. Boss and J . J Buckley reported that the flyer a out these )as been completed ;and will be included In the next Towi Crier, as wall as going to the schools ,. etc , - Open House J . Buckley reported that the Open House was • very successful , with much interest shown in the Parks program, a good turn-out. - Results of Park Name . J . Buckley stated that requests for suggestions for a name for the new park will be In the next Town Crier, and that Lake Johanna Grade School is going to send a letter to each student asking for their suggestions. - Ramsey County Park Ordinance. Grudnoske gave a brief review of the ordinance. No recommendations were made. New Business - Lift Station Me . C. Grudnoske moved that we investigate the possibility of beautifying the lift stations, making them more aesthetically pleasing . K. Boss sec.3nded , and the motion was unanimously approved. Acting Chairman G. Beggin appointed C. Grudnosk-a to do this. The two stations most needing this are on Highway 10, and on Red Fox Road . - Bike and Wal,n'( ino Trails. Tht_= Committee is looking forward to a report from the League of Women Voters and G. McCatiley on -the bike trail systems , and offers their assis ,,anca tc them. Next Meeting Councilman Crichton lnvltet� the Parks and Recreation Committee to his home for the next meeting on December 9th at 3 : 00 p .m. Each member is to b,- ina a snack,- such as cookies , cake, chips and dip , etc. Husbands ano wives are invited to this annual Christmas party . Ad ournment It was moved by K. 3oss , seconded by P,.
