CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9,
SUBSECTION 910.11, OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY CODE
REGARDING SWIMMING POOLS; CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 9 Building Regulations, Section 910 Swimming Pools, Subsection
910.11 Construction Standards, Subdivision 7 Safety Fencing, subparagraph A., is hereby amended
by deleting strikegwau -'' language and adding the underlined language as follows:
Chapter 9 — Building Regulations
Section 910 — Swimming Pools
910.11 Construction Standards.
Subd. 7 Safety Fencing; Height.
A. All pools shall be provided with safeguards to prevent children from gaining
uncontrolled access. This shall be accomplished with fencing of not less than fwe four 4 feet in
height.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
publication according to law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 2022, by the City Council of the City of
Arden Hills, Minnesota.
