SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO.2022-006
AN INTERIM ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE, TESTING,
MANUFACTURING, AND DISTRIBUTION WITHIN THE CITY OF PRODUCTS
CONTAINING THC
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on August 22, 2022, Ordinance No. 2022-006 was
adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No.
2022-006, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that Ordinance 2022-006 establishes a one year
moratorium on the sale, testing, manufacturing and distribution of products containing
tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) within the City of Arden Hills in order to allow the City time to
study the issue and determine what, if any, additional licensing and/or regulations for THC
products to pursue. The ordinance provides an exception for products related to the state's medical
cannabis program.
A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during the
City's regular office hours or on the City's website.
