Parks and Recreation Committee
Tuesday - June 17, 1969
The meeting was held at the home of Bob Bjorndahl . The meeting was
called to order at 7 :00 p .m. by Mayor Bjorndahl .
Present : Mayor Bjorndahl , Chairman Boss , and Mr. J . Jacobson from
the Parks Department, St . Paul
Absent: Cadwell , Engle , Kuehn , LaNasa, Lindbom, McIntosh , Spratt,
and Fish
The group toured Ingerson Park , Floral Park and Charles Perry Park.
They requested Mr. Jacobson , Park Planning Consultant, to develop a
new concept plan for Ingerson Park involving a farm theme .
Mr. Jacobson was also directed to prepare plans ( including survey,
etc. ) on the upper level of Charles Perry Park to enable the start
of development for this park.
The group discussed the 1970 Parks and Playground budget.
The next meeting of the committee will be held Tuesday , July 15, 1969,
at the home of Tom LaNasa .
