PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE
Tuesday - May 20, 1969
Present - Boss, Cadwell , Fish , Kuehn , LaNasa , McIntosh , Spratt
Absent - Engle, Lindbom
Also Present - Council Liaison Bjorndahl , Mrs . Hass and Mrs .
Bjorndahl of the Josephine Garden Club ; Mrs . Kliemeier
of the Arden Hills League of Women Voters
Mrs . Hass and Mrs . Bjorndahl expressed their interest in having
the Josephine Garden Club conduct a questionnaire in the ingerson
Park vicinity as a first step in orgainizing and developing this
park area .
A motion by Ruth Cadwell was made and carried to authorize this
pilot group to proceed with their survey plans .
This committee recommenced the Council to approve Arden Hills
participation in the SPARC Recreation Program.
The next meeting will be at 7 : 00 p .m. , June 17, 1969, at the home
of Bob Bjorndahl , 3183 Lexington Avenue, 484-5909.
Please note change of time. A field trip is planned .
A special meeting was called on June 5, 1969 to determine locations
for the new playground equipment.
