Parks and Recreation Committee
Tuesday - April 15 , 1969
Present - Boss . Cadwell , Engle , Fish , LaNasa , McIntosh , Spratt
Absent - Lindbom, Kuehn
Also Present - Uouncil Liaison Bjorndahl
The Parks and Recreation Committee met April 15th , at the home of
Herbert McIntosh .
Plowing for seedlings to begin when around is sufficiently dry .
Arden Hills Jaycees will work on this project.
Action on -fill for parks and on baseball diamond improvements to
be continued .
A motion was made by Mel Fish as follows : to complete the County
Road E Park with sod and play equipment, to be selected by this
committee , including basketball and volleyball equipment as needed .
The motion was seconded and carried .
Ken Boss will select and order equipment amounting to approximately
$ 1 ,000 .00, before the May meeting .
A motion was made by Tom LaNasa to have Mr. Jacobson attend a
Committee meeting to discuss park development. If possible a
field trip to several of the parks is planned . The motion was
seconded and carried .
The next meeting will be at 8 : JO p .m. , 'clay 20th , at the home of
Hel Fish , 1975 Glenpaul Road , 533- 1854 .
