RESOLUTION NO. 42
A RESOLUTION OF COMMITMENT TO ADOPT AN EROSION AND
SEDIMENT CONTROL ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills' 1998 Comprehensive Plan update was submitted to
the Metropolitan Council for review; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires that the City submit a copy of an erosion
and sediment control ordinance to complete the review of the Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has not adopted an erosion and sediment control ordinance
to date; and
WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a model erosion and sediment control ordinance
from Ramsey County for review; and

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has asked that the City Council commit to
adopting an ordinance within 120 days of the Comprehensive Plan review in the form of a
resolution so that the Comprehensive Plan review may be completed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED by the City Council ofthe City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota that the City Council commits to adopting an erosion and sediment
control ordinance within 120 days of the Comprehensive Plan review by the Metropolitan
Council.
