WHEREAS, the Arden Hills Vi llage Council desl res
that the Vii lage of New Brighton continue its sewer service
to the following two areas:
No. I Mounds View High School and any further
possible connections which might be
desired on approximately the westerly
half of the school property.
No.2 Minneapolis Hide and Tallow Co. (rendering
plant) and to any additional connections
on approximately the western half of the
developable area recently acquired from
New Brighton, and
WHEREAS, it would seem more feasible and economical
for Arden Hill s to se rve the easte r I y ba I ances of these two
areas from Its own sewer system, and adequate capacity for
such servIce is available;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Metropolitan
Councl I be so advised.
Passed by the Arden Hills Village Council this 9 day of October,
1972.

RESOLUTION NO. 72-55, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Counci I has requested that
Arden Hi I Is consider amending a portion of Resolution No.
72-55,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as, follows:
That Resolution No. 72-55 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
WHEREAS, the Arden Hi lis Vi I lage Council desires
that the VI I lage of New Brighton continue its
sewer service to the following two areas:
No. I Mounds View High School and any further
possible connections which might be
desired on approximately the westerly
half of the school property.
No.2 Minneapolis Hide and Tallow Co. (render-
ing plant) and to any additional con-
nections on approximately the western
half of the developable area recently
acquired from New Brighton, and
WHEREAS, It would seem more feasible and economical
for Arden Hi I Is to serve the easterly balances of
these two areas from Its own sewer system, and
adequate capacity for such service is avai lable, and
WHEREAS, the Agreement of November 30, 1970, between
New Brighton and Arden Hi Its Re Annexation and
Detachment provIdes in Paragraph 4 thereof for
sewer service by New Brighton to a portion of the
property now annexed to Arden Hills, which portion
includes the easterly portion of the property re-
ferred to in No.2 above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Arden Hil Is here-
by waives its right for New Brighton sewer service
under the aforesaid November 30, 1970 Agreement, but

aforesaid property described in No.2 above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Metropol itan Counci I
be advised of this Resolution.
