RESOLUTION NO. 72-52
WHEREAS, Northern States Power Company, then the owner
... In fee of a 50-foot wide right-of-way In the East t of the
Southeast * of Section 28, Township 30 North, Range 23 West,
did on November 28, 1956, grant to the Village of Arden Hills
for public road purposes an easement across said 50-foot
right-of way, which easement was described as fol lows:
Beginning at a point on the southeast line of
said right-of-way distant 520.04 feet southwest
of the Intersection of said southeast line with
the east line of said East t of the Southeast
* of Section 28; thence running northwest at
right angles to said southeast line 50 feet to
the northwest line of said right-of-way; thence
southwest on last named line 60 feet; thence
southeast at right angles 50 feet to said south-
east line; thence northeast on last named line
60 feet to the point of beginning.
Also all that part of said right-of-way described
as follows: Beginning at a point on said south-
east line distant 830.54 feet southwest of said
Intersection; thence running northwest at right
angles to said southeast line 50 feet to the
northeast line of said right-of-way; thence south-
west on last named line 60 feet; thence southeast
at right angles 50 feet to said southeast IIne4
thence northeast on last named line 60 feet to
the point of beginning;
and
WHEREAS, ~ald deed was recorded on December 14, 1956,
In the office of the Register of Deeds, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
on Book 1539 of Deeds, page 47, as Document No. 1416927; and
WHEREAS, the said right-of-way owned by Northern States
Power Company has now been sold and conveyed to persons owning
the land adjoining said right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, It appears to the Council of Arden HII Is that

there Is no longer any vii lage necessity for said .asement,
and accordingly the Council has no objection to a quit-claim
of said parcel to the owner of the abutting property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village of Arden Hills
that the duly authorized officers of the Village of Arden
HII Is be authorized and directed to prepare, execute

and deliver to Partridge Construction Co., Inc., a quit-
~ claim deed to the aforesaid parcel, and the Mayor and Clerk-
Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to sign
said quit-claim deed for and on behalf of the Village of
Arden Hills.
Passed by the Arden Hi1~ Vi1age Council this 28th
day of August, 1972.
