Council does hereby determine and order that said tmprovement
shall be constructed and financed, except the installation
of bituminous re-surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer
and necessary appurtenances on Floral Drive and except the installa-
tion of concrete curb and gutter on James Circle, Norma Circle,
and Gale Circle, and special assessments shall be levied therefor,
pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that the area proposed to be
assessed therefor shall include the property as described in the
notice of hearing.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Herrick, and upon roll call vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in faVOr thereof: All
and the following voted against: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Councilman Olmen then introduced and moved the adoption of the
following resolution:

RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR A PORTION
OF STREET IMPROVEMENT NO. 72-3
WHEREAS pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
tmprovement, according to the plans and specifications thereof
of file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said village,
said bids were received on August 14, 1972 at 11:00 o'clock a. m.,
opened and tabulated according to law and the fOllowing bids were

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the village Council of the
Village of Arden Bills, Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator ar.e hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with
Bituminous Roadways, Inc.
for $ 23,113.50
in the name of the Village of Arden Bills

for the above improvement according to the plans and specifications
thereof theretofore approved by the Village council and on file in the
office of the village Clerk Administrator.

2. The Village Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have
been signed.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Herrick and upon

and the following voted against: None

Clerk Administrator of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of meeting of the Council of said
village held on August 14, 1972 with the original thereof on
file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete
transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to awarding
bids for a portion of Street Improvement NO. 72-3.
