Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the
V1l1age Council of the Village of Arden H1Us
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Arden dills, Minnesota was
duly held at the Village Hall in said village on Monday, the 22nd
day of ~~y, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock p.m.

following were absent: None
CounCilman Herrick introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:

BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Arden. 8111s
as follows:

1. By resolution adopted April 10, 1972, the Council has
directed Banister, Short, ELliott, Bendrickson & Associates to
prepare a preliminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed
improvement consisting of the installation of bituminous surfacing,
concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and necessary appurtenances on
James Circle, Norma Circle, and Gale CirCle, and also the installation
of bituminous re-surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer
and necessary appurtenances on Floral Drive. Banister, Short. Elliott,
Hmdrickson & Associates was also directed to include in the report
the estimated cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether such
improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate
have been submitted by the engineers and considered by the Council
and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the
office of the Village Clerk Administrator. The improvement proposed
to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is desig-
nated as street Dnprovernent SO" 72-3.

2. The Council shall meet at the Village Hall, 1450 West
Highway 96, in said village, on June 26, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock p.m.,
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed
improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Clerk .Administrator is hereby
authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and pur~
pose of that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper,
New Brighton Bulletin, which publications shall be a week apart, and
the second publication shall be not less than three days before the
date of the hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of
Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Hall, 1450 ~st
Highway 96, in said village, on the 26th day of June, 1972, at
8:00 o'clock p.m., to hold a public hearing pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed Street Improvement
No. 72-3 consisting of the installation of bituminous surfacing,
concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and necessary appurtenances on
James Circle, Norma Circle, and Gale Circle, and also the installa-
tion of bituminous re-surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, storm
sewer and necessary appurtenances on Floral Drive. The foregoing
is all substantially in accordance with a preliminary engineering
report which is now on file and open to public inspection in the
office of the Village Clerk-Administrator.

4. The general nature, estimated cost and area proposed to be
assessed for Street Improvement No. 72-3 are determined to be as
stated in the foregoing notice, as fully as though the same were
separately set forth and resolved herein.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the dUlY qualified and acting Clerk-
Administrator of the Village of Arden Hills, I-U.nnesota, do hereby
certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing
extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of
said village held on the 22nd day of l-1ay, 1972, with the original
thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript insofar as the same relates to Street
Improvement No. 72-3 of said village.
