Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills Ramsey COunty, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village COuncil of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in said village on Monday, the 31st day of January, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau and Councilmen Olmen, Henderson and Herrick and the following were absent: None. COuncilman Olmen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 1~-3 RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEERS PRELIM- INARY REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLJ:C HEARING ON WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 72-1 BE IT RESOLVED by the Councll of the Village of Arden Hills as follows: 1. By resolution adopted January 10, 1972, the Council has directed Banister Engineering company to prepare a pre- liminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement consisting of the rerouting of 12" watermain northerly along HaInline Avenue to S.T.H. 96, thence westerly on S.T.a. 96 to connect to a proposed 12 II watennain on Snelling Avenue: the extension of a 12 II watermain from the elevated tank on Fern- wood Street to Hamline Avenue: and the extension of an 8" watennain easterly on Amble Road from Hamline Avenue and all necessary appurtenances. Banister Engineering was also directed to include in the report the estimated cost of the proposed improvement and as to whether such improvement should . . . . best be made as proposed. or in connection with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate have been submitted by the engineers and considered by the COuncil and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the Village Clerk Administrator. The improve- ment proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated as Water Dnprovement No. 72-1. 2. The Council shall meet at the Village Hall, 1450 t~st Highway 96, in said village, on February 28, 1972, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota statutes, Chapter 429, and the Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, New Brighton Bulletin, which publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three days before the date of the hearing. 3.
