NOTICE OF HEARING
ON WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 72-1
VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of
Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Ball, 1450 west
Highway 96, in said village, on the 28th day of February, 1972,
at 8:00 o'clock p.m., to hold a pUblic hearing pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. as amended, on proposed water
Improvement No. 72-1 consisting of the rerouting of 12" watermain
northerly along Eamline Avenue to S.T.H. 96, thence westerly on
S. T. H. 96 to connect to a proposed 12 II watermain on Snelling
Avenue: the extension of a 12" watermain from the elevated tank
on Fernwood Street to Eamline Avenue: and the extension of an 8"
watermain easterly on Amble Road from Hamline Avenue and all
necessary appurtenances. The foregoing is all sUbstantially in
accordance with a preliminary engineering report which is now on
file and open to public inspection in the office of the Village
Clerk Administrator.

4. The general nature, estimated cost and area
proposed to be assessed for Water 1mprovement No. 72-1 are
determined to be as stated in the foregoing notice, as fully
as though the same were separately set forth and resolved
herein.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded Councilman Henderson and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: All
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk
Administrator of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do hereby
certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing
extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of
said village held on the 31st day of January, 1972 with the original
thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript insofar as the same relates to Water Dmprovement
No. 72-1 of said village.

Village of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the Village Hall in said V11laCJEI on Jbnday, the 10th
day of January, 1972. at BIOO o'clock p.m.
'lbe fo11oving members were present: Mayor crepeau and
Councilmen Ho1lenhorst. Henderson, Olmen and Herrick
and the folloving were absent: None.
CoQncl1man Olmen introducea and moved the adoption of the
folloving resolution:

RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEOUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON
WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 72-1
WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the rerouting of 12"
watemain northerly along Ham1ine Avenue to S.T.B. 96, thence
westerly on S.T.B.96 to connect to a proposed 12" watemain on
Snelling Avenue; the extension of a 12" vatemain from the elevated
tank on Fernwood street to Hamline Avenue; and the extension of an
S" watemain easterly on Amble Road from Hamline Avenue and all
necessary appurtenances. filed with the COuncil on January 10, 1972,
is hereby aec1ared to be signed by the required percentage of
owners of property affected thereby pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,

VILU\GE OF AlmER BILLS, MINNESOTA.
!hat the petition be referred to the village consulting
engineers for study and that they are instructed to report to
the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is
feasible and as to Whether it should best be made as proposed
or in connection with some other improvement, and the est1mated
cost of the improvement as recommended~
