Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of Village Council
Village of Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota
OCtober 11, 1971
A regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, was held in the Village Hall on october 11, 1971, at
8:00 o'clock P.M.
The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau and Council-
men Olmen, Hollenhorst, Henderson and Herrick
and the following were absent: None.

The Village Clerk Administrator presented to the Council the
proposed assessment roll for Sanitary Sewer Improvement Ro. 16
prepared by her with the assistance of the village consulting
engineers as directed by the Council on September 27, 1971, and
reported that the assessment roll is now on file in her office
and open to public inspection.
Councilman Olmen then introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-46
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT JlO. 16
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Council of the Village of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, that the proposed assessment roll for Sanitary Sewer
Improvement Jlo. 16 now on file and open to public inspection in

the office of the Village Clerk Administrator, is approved, and
the Clerk Administrator is directed to publish and mail notice
that the Council will meet to consider the proposed assessment
on November 8, 1971, at the Village Hall in the Village of Arden
Hills, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The notice shall state the date,
time and place of the meeting, the general nature of said improve-
ment, the area proposed to be assessed, that the proposed assess-
ment roll is on file with the Clerk Administrator, and that
written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be
considered. It shall be published in the official newspaper of
the Village at least once, and shall be mailed to the owner of
each parcel described in the assessment roll, not less than two
weeks prior to the date of said meeting. For the purpose of such
mailed notice, owners of said parcels shall be those shown as such
as of OCtober 8, 1971, on the records of the County Treasurer.
Every property owner whose name does not appear on such records
(other than owners of property which is tax exempt or is taxed on
a gross earnings basis) shall be deemed to have waived such
mailed notice unless he has requested in writing ~hat the county
Treasurer include his name on the records for this purpose.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst, and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof rAIl.
and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Minnesota, hereby attest and certify that

(3) I find said extract to be a true, correct and
complete transcript frOlll the original minutes of
a meeting of the Village Council of said Village

including any resolutions adopted at such meeting,
insofar as they relate to Sanitary Sewer :rmprovemea~

(4) said meeting was duly held, pursuant to call and
notice.thereof as required by law.
