Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota,
was duly held at the Village Hall in said village on Monday, the
26 day of
J u I y
, 1971, at 8:00 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau, Councilmen
Olmen and Herrick
and the following were absent: douncilmen Hollenhorst and Henderson
Councilman
Herrick
then introduced and moved the
adoption of the following resolution:
Resolution No. 71-32
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR
FLORAL DRIVE WATER IMPROVEMENT NO, 71-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof
on file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said village,
said bids were received on July 23, 1971, at 11:00 o'clock a,m"
opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that
Dunkley Surfacing Company, Inc.
of
Minneapolis, Minnesota
is the lowest
responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $ 77,812.80 ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the village Council of the
Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
1, The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with Dunkley Surfacing
Company, Inc.
for $ 77,8 I 2 , 80
in the
name of the Village of Arden Hills for the above improvement
according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore
approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the
Village Clerk Administrator,

2. The Village Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been
signed,
The motion was seconded by Councilman 0 I men and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Herrick, Olmen and Crepeau
and the following voted against: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting

Clerk Administrator of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota,
do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of meeting of the Council of said
village held on

thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to
awarding bids for Floral Drive Water Improvement No. 71-1.
