VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS
RESOLUTION NO. 11-~b
RESOLUTION RELATING TO RAMSEY COUNTY
OPEN SPACE SYSTEM
the

WHEREAS the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has adopted
Ramsey County Open Space System as prepared by the City of
Paul's Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Buildings;
with
Open
WHEREAS the VI liege Councl I of Arden HI I Is Is In agreement
the principles and policies expressed In the Ramsey County
Space System; and
WHEREAS the Ramsey County Open Space System Is In general
agreement with the adopted Arden HII Is Comprehensive Development
Plan; and
WHEREAS the Arden Hills Parks and Recreation Committee and
the Arden HI lis Planning Commission have recommended that the
Village Council of Arden Hills participate In the Ramsey County
Open Space System;
NOW THEREFORE, be It resolved that the Village Council of
Arden Hills expresses Its desire that the Ramsey County Board
of Commissioners continue Its effort to preserve and maintain
the nature envIronment through the Ramsey County Open Space System
In the VIllage of Arden Hills; and
FURTHER be It resolved that the Ramsey ~o~ty Board of
Commissioners expand the Ramsey County Open5Sifstem to Include all
of the area outlined on the accompanying map;
FURTHER be It resolved that the Village Council of Arden HII Is
encourages the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners to acquire and
maintain al I or part of the outlined lands shown on the attached
map which are not urbanized, as defined In the Ramsey County Open
Space System as part of the System, but subJect to final approval
by the Council on specific acquIsitions.
