A RESOLUTION OF COM~ITMENT
adop1'ed by the Counc II of the Village of Arden H I II s
February I, 1971
Vie, the Counc I I of the Village of Arden Hit Is, hereby assert
. that the ImmedIate establishment of an adequate and fair national
revenue sharing system Is a high priority Issue confronting govern-
ment here in Minnesota and throughout AmerIca.
As evidence of the high priority we assign to a natJonal
revenue sharing system, we hereby commit ourselves 1'0 support both
a real Ighment of our national priorities and a reallocation of our
resources to provide funds for revenue sharing. While we recognize
the continued need to utIlize categorical aid to meet national
objec1'ives, we would support a moratorIum on new grant programs.
