Extract of Minutes of Meeting

Village of Arden Hills
Ramsey county, Minnesota
Held January 11, 1971
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the Village Council of the village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the Village Hall in said village on Monday, the 11th
day of January, 1971, at 8:00 o'clock p. m.
The following members were present: Ma,yor Crepeau, Counci I men
Olmen, Hoflenhorst, Henderson and Herrick
and the following were absent:
None
Councilman Henderson
introduced the following resolu-
tion and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION RELATING TO
CONSOLIDATED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS NOS. 12 AND 13
AND PROVIDING POll. A PARTIAL REFUND
OF OVERPAYMENT OF PREPAYMENT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Arden
Hills, Minnesota as follows:
1. On September 28, 1970 the Village Council duly conducted a
public assessment hearing and adopted an assessment roll relating
to Consolidated Sanitary Sewer Improvements Nos. 12 and 13.
2. On November 30, 1970 the village conducted an assessment
hearing relating to supplemental and reassessments for said
consolidated improvements.
3. That Ervin G. G{ere, 4275 North Hamline Avenue, st. Paul,
Minnesota was the owner of rroperty covered by Plate No.
25 02200 010 51 described as follcws:

against which an original assessment at the time of the original
assessment hearing was made of $11,549.50, and that in accordance
with existing Council authority permitting prepayment within 30
days after the adoption of the assessment roll of one-half of any
assessment, said property owner did pay the sum of $5,774.75.
Subsequent thereto and as a result of the supplemental ~Aae&BmQnt
hearing the total assessment for said property owner on the above
described property was reduced to $9,400.75.
4. The Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized to refund
the sum of $1,074.37 to Mr. Giere so that upon payment of said
refund the village will have received one-half of the revised
assessment, prepaid in accordance with prior Council action.
5. That the remaining balance due of said assessment in the
amount of $4,700.37 shall be certified to the county Auditor of
Ramsey COunty as the unpaid amount of assessments against said
described property to be spread, levied, and collected by Ramsey
County officials in like manner with other unpaid assessments of
said improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by COuncilman

being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: AI I

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Administrator of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do hereby
certify that I have compared the attached and foregoing extract
of minutes with the original minutes thereof on file in my office,
and that the same is a true and complete transcript of the minutes
of a meeting of the Village Council of said municipality duly
called and held on the date therein indicated, so far as such
