Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of Village Council
Village of Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota
August 13, 1973
A regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Arden Hills,
Minnesota,was held in the Village Hall on August 13, 1973, at
8:00 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Meyor Crepeeu, CouncIlmen
Hollenhorst end HerrIck
and the following were absent:
Councilmen CrIchton end Olmen

The Village Clerk Administrator presented to the Council the
proposed assessment roll for Water Improvement No. 72-1 prepared
by her with the assistance of the village consulting engineers as
directed by the Council on June 11, 1973, and reported that the
assessment roll is now on file in her office and open to public
inspection.
Councilman Herrl ck
then introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-27
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 72-1
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Council of the Village of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, that the proposed assessment roll for Water Improvement
No. 72-1 now on file and open to public inspection in the office
of the Village Clerk Administrator, is approved, and the Clerk
Administrator is directed to publish and mail notice that the
Council will meet to consider the proposed assessment on

of Arden Hills, at 7: 00 0 I clock p.m. The notice shall s';;:ate the

date, time and place of the meeting, the general nature of said
improvement, the area proposed to be assessed, that the proposed
assessment roll is on file with the Clerk Administrator, and that
written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be
considered. It shall be published in the official newspaper of
the Village at least once, and shall be mailed to the owner of
each parcel described in the assessment roll, not less than two
weeks prior to the date of said meeting. For the purpose of such
mailed notice, owners of said parcels shall be those shown as such
on the records of the County Treasurer. Every property owner
whose name does not appear on such records (other than owners of
property which is tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings basis)
shall be deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless he has
requested in writing that the County Treasurer include his name
on the records for this purpose.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman
Hollenhorst
, and upon vote
being taken thereon, 'the following voted in favor thereof: .11 present
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

complete transcript from the original minutes of
a meeting of the Village Council of said Village
held on the date indicated in said extract.
including any resolutions adopted at such meeting,
insofar as they relate to Water Improvement No. 72-1
of said Village: and
(4) said meeting was duly held, pursuant to call and
notice thereof as required by law.
