RESOLUTION NO. /$-40 RESOLUTION REDUCING SANITARY SEWER RATES AND WAIVING MINIMUM WATER ,CHAR- GES FOR CERTAIN SENIOR AND DISABLED CITIZENS WHEREAS, the Village Council, at its general meeting held on~~,S/,1972, by a motion duly made, seconded, and passed,~did~~solve to reduce the charges for usage of the Village sanitary sewer system and to waive the minimum char- ges for usage of the Village water system (as required in Ord. No. 103) where such charges are imposed upon property owned or occupied by those of its citizens who are 65 years of age or older or who are totally disabled within the mean- ing of Social Security regulations, and WHEREAS, the Village Council, at its general meeting held on December 11, 1972, did pass two ordinances--Ord. No. 165 and Ord. No. l66--pertinent provisions of which made it permissible for the Council to effectuate the aforesaid re- duction and waiver by means of a Resolution, and WHEREAS, the Village Council now desires to ratify and confirm its action at its general meeting on~S~ 1972 and formally to implement said reduction an~waiv~r of charges in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Ord. No. 165 and Ord. No. 166, ' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Village of Arden Hills that: ~l.
