Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of the City Council
of the City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 16th
day of October, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau and
Councilmen Hanson, Wingert, Crichton and Woodburn; and the
following were absent: None
Councilman Wingert introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:
Resolution No. 78-66
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR COMBINED
IMPROVEMENTS W-77-5 AND W-78-2 and IMPROVEMENT W-78-5
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
improvements, according to the plans and specifications thereof
on file in the office of the Clerk Administrator of said City,
said bids were received on October 13, 1978, at 2:00 o'clock
p.m., opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that C. W. Houle Landscaping Co.
of St. Pau I, MI nn.sota is the lowest responsible
bidder a.t the tabulated price of $5" ,661.50
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
C.W. Houl. Landscaping Co.
for $5",661.'0
in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the above improve-
ments according to the plans and specifications thereof
heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk Administrator.
2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized
and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids except the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until
... contracts have been signed.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Woodburn, and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
