HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-058 . . ~ ~ Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Arden Hills Ramsey County, Minnesota Held: September 11, 1978 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 11th day of September, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau and Councilmen Hanson, Crichton and Woodburn; and the following was absent: Councilman Wingert. Councilman Crichton then introduced the following resolu- tion and IIlOved its adoption: Resolution No. /tf-.5"'f RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON COMBINED IMPROVEMENTS W-77-5 and W-78-2 and IMPROVEMENT W-78-5 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the City Council cn March 6, 1978 and June 19, 1978, the City Consulting Enqineer has prepared plans and specifications for Combined Improvements W-77-5 and W-78-2 and for Improvement W-78-5 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper, ~~k . and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for Combined Improvements W-77-5 and W-78-2 and for Improvement W-78-5 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Clerk Administrator and Consulting Engineer until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on October 13, 1978, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk Administrator and City Consulting Engineer, will then be tabulated, and wil be considered by the Council at ~.t[. 0' clock " . m. on , 1978, in the CO C1 Chambers ~d that no 1 s W1 e con- sidered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk Administrator for ten percent of the amount of such bid. ; The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hanson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All~ and the following voted against: None~ whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ~ ~ ~WJ~ ~~ .
