A regular meeting of the Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, was held in the City Hall on July 3l, 1978, at 7:30
o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau and
Councilmen Crichton, Hanson, tUngert and Woodburn~ and the
following were absent: None.
The City Clerk Administrator presented to the Council the
proposed assessment roll for Improvement No. W-P-SS-76-l pre-
pared by her with the assistance of the City consulting engineer
as directed by the Council on July 17, 1978, and reported that
the assessment roll is now on file in her office and open to
public inspection.
Councilman Wingert then introduced the following resolu-
tion and IIlOved its adoption:

RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR
HEARING ON 'l'HE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. W-P-SS-76-l
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Hills
that the proposed assessment roll for Improvement No. 1iT-P-SS-76-l
now on file and open to public inspection in the office of the
City Clerk Administrator, is approved, and the Clerk Adminis-
trator is directed to publish and mail notice that the Council
will meet to consider the proposed assessment on August 28,
1978, at the City Hall, l450 West Highway 96, in the City of
Arden Hills, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The notice shall state the
date, time and place of the meeting, the general nature of
said improvement, the area proposed to be assessed, the total
cost of the improvement, that the proposed assessment roll is

on file with the Clerk Administrator, and that written or oral
objections thereto by any property owner will be considered.
It shall be published once in the official newspaper of the
City at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall be
mailed to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment
roll, not less than two weeks prior to the date of said meeting.
For the purpose of such mailed notice, owners of said parcels
shall be those shown as such on the records of the County
Treasurer. Every property owner whose name does not appear
on such records (other than owners of property which is tax
exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings basis) shall be deemed
to have waived such mailed notice unless he has requested in
writing that the County 'l'reasurer include his name on the
records for this purpose.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Crichton and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All; and
the following voted against the same: None; whereupon the
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
