Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reqular meetinq

of the City council of the city of Arden Hills, Minnesota was
duly held in the City Ball, 1450 West Highway 96. in said
City on Monday, the 10th day of

, 1978, at 7:30
o'clock p.m.
The followinq members were present:
Crepeau, Crichton, Hanson, Woudburn
and the following were absent:
Wingert
Councilman Woodburn
introduced the following reso-
lution and moved its adoption:

RESOLt1l'ION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT
NO. SS"'W-P-77-2
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OP PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No.
SS-W-P-77-2 of the city of Arden Bills consisting of the
construction of sanitary sewer, watermain, bitWllinous surfacing,
concrete curb and gutter. drainaqe facilities and necessary
appurtenances generally in the area bounded by cleveland Avenue
on the west, Prior Avenue on the east, Glenpaul Avenue on the
south, and approximately l50 feet north of Jerrold Avenue ex-
tended westerly on the north, and
WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the
legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improvement
and the resolution relating thereto, and the contract price for
such improvement is $ 94,060 .84 and the other expenses

incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement
amount to $ 22.709. 16 so that the total cost of the im-
provement will be $ 116.770.00 , and of this Clost the City
will pay $ 0 as its share of the cost.
NOW THBREFORE. be it resolved by the city council of the
City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows:
. l. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $ 116.770.00 .
2. The city Clerk Administrator, together with the assist~
ance of the City consulting Engineer, shall fOrthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed fOr such work against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected. without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law,
and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his
office fOr public inspection. The City Clerk Administrator may
arrange fOr the assistance of the Data processing Division of
the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assess-
ment roll.
3. 'l'he City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion
of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof fOr
their further action and fOr their setting of an assessment
hearing therefOr.
The I1lOtion fOr the adopt:i.on of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Cri chton
and upon vote
being taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: a II
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
