Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting

of the City council of the city of Arden Hills. Minnesota, was
duly held in the City Hall. l4S0 West Highway 96. in said

and the following were absent: Wingert
Councilman Woodburn
introduced the following reso-
lution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. lJJ:..37
RESOLUTION REIATING '1'0 IMPROVEMENT
NO. P-ST-77-6
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS. contracts have been let for Improvement No.
P-ST-77-6 of the City of Arden Hills consisting of the instal-
lation of biuminous paving, concrete curb and gutter. storm
sewer facilities. sanitary sewer and water services. right-of-
way acquisition. and necessary appurtenances generally including
all that property bounded on the north by the 800 Line Railroad
tracksr on the west by State '1'runk Highway 5lr on the south by
county Road Er and on the east by Lexington Avenuer and
WHEREAS. the foregoing is in the area described in the
legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improve-
ment and the resolution relating thereto. and the contract
price for such improvement is $ 63,460.00 and the other

expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said
improvement amount to $ 18,363.00 SO eat the total
cost of the improvement will be $ 81,823.00 , and of this
cost the City will pay $ 0 as its share of the cost.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Cl1:y Council of
City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows:

l. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $ 81,823.00.
2. The City Clerk Administrator, together with the assist-
ance of the city Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law,
and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his
office for public inspection. The City clerk Administrator may
arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing Division of
the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed IIssess-
ment roll.
3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion of
such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for their
further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing
therefor.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Crichton
and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereoft a II

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
