Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of city Council
city of Arden Bills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting
.
of the City council of the City of Arden Hills. Minnesota. was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 22nd
day of May, 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor crepeau and
Councilmen Hanson, wingert, crichton and woodbum, and the
following were absent: NOne.
Councilman Woodburn introduced and moved the adoption
of the following resolution:

RESOLUTION DECLARIRl ADEQUACY OF' PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OP :REPORT ON
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-78-3
WHEREAS. a certain petition requesting an improvement in
the City of Arden Hills by the construction of sanitary sewer,
watermain. bituminous paving. concrete curb and gutter. storm
drainage facilities. right-of~ay acquisition and necessary
appurtenances, filed with the council on May 22. 1978, is
hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of
owners of property affected thereby pursuant to Minnesota Statutes.
Sec. 429.035. The south boundary of the 9 acres proposed to be

improved is located 300 feet north of the centerline of Amble
Road between Bllmline Avenue and Karth Lake, and the north
boundary is approximately 630 feet north of the centerline of
Amble, Road between Hamline Avenue and Karth Lake.
NOW. TBEREPOU. BE IT RESOLVED Ell!' THE CI'l'Y COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARDEN BILLS. MINNESOTA I
That the petition be referred to the City COnsulting
Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to
the Council with all convenient speed. advising the COuncil
in a preliminary way liS to whether the proposed improvement
is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as
proposed or in connection with some other improvement. and
the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the ac1Option of 1:he foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by councilman Bllnson and upon vote being
taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: All,
and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and acJopted.
