Ex/ract of Minutes of Heetinq

Ramsey County, Hinnesota
Pursuant to due oall and notioe thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Bills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the city Ball in said City on Monday, the 24th day
of April. 1978, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor crepeau and
Councilmen Hanson. Crichton and Woodburnl and the following- was
absent: Councilman Wingert.
Councilman Crichton introduced and moved the adoption of
the fOllowing resolution:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-20
RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF REPORT AND ORDERING IMPROVEMEN'f
PURSUANT TO PETITION BY 100% OF OWNERS OF AFFECTED
PROPERTY FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-T^1-P-78-1
WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting an improvement in
the City of Arden Hills, generally in the area west of Valentine
Crest Roadl east of Interstate Highway 35-W, north of County
Road PI and south of Interstate Highway 694 by the installation
of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm drainage, bituminous sur-
faCing, and concrete curb and gutter, was filed with the Council
on April 29. 1977 for Improvement No. SS-W-P-77-3, and
tfflERBAS, on May 2, 1977 the Council adopted Resolution No.
77-23 ordering the preparation of a report on Improvement No.
SS-W-P-77-3, and
WHEREAS. after the report was completed the property was
sold and the new owners subsequently submitted a new petition
requesting the same improve1l'ents for the same property.

NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arden Hills. rtinnesota, as foll~ls:
1. The aforesaid second j;)etition is siqned by the owners of
all property affected by said requested improvement in accor-
dance with M.S.A. Sec. 429.031(3).
2. Said improvement. is feasible and is hereby ordered as
proposed in the report of theCity consulting engineer with the
understanding that the City will install the utilities and
st.reet and the pet.itioner will t.ake care of and pay for all site
grading directly and not as special assessments.
3. The City engineer is hereby designated as the engineer
for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Hanson. and upon roll call vote
being taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: AUf
and the following voted against: None 1 whereupon said resolu-
tion was declared duly passed and adopted.
