Extract of .inu~es of Meetinq
of the City council
of the City of Arden Hills
Ramsey COunty. Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting
, of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills. Minnesota, was
duly held at the city Hall in said City on Monday, the 12th
day of December, 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Acting Mayor Cdch'tOt1,
and COuncilmen Hanson, Wingert and Woodburn, and the following
was absent: Mayor crepeau
Councilman WOodburn introduced and IIIOved the adoption of
WHEREAS. it is proposed to improve that portion of the
City of Arden Hills generally including all that property
bounded on the north by the Boo Line Railroad tracks, on the west
by Sta~e Trunk Highway 51, on the south by county Road E, and
on the east by Lexington Avenue by the installation of bitua-
inous paving, concrete curb and gu~ter, storm sewer facilities,
and necessary appurtenances, and to assess the benefitted

sanitary sewer and water services. right-of-way acquisition,

property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minn. Statutes Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Minn.
Statutes 1961).
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to the City
Consulting Engineers for study and that they are instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed. advising
the COuncil in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whetber it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Wingert and upon vote being
taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Allr and
the following voted against the same: Noner whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
