Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of the City council
of the City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a requla:r meetinq
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Ball in said City on Monday, the 12th
day of December. 1977. at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Acting Mayor Crichton
and Councilmen Hanson, Wingert and Woodburn, and the followinq
was absent: Mayor Crepeau
Councilman woodburn introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:

RESOLO'l'XON ORDBRJ:NG PREPARATION OF
REPORl' ON IMPROVEMENT W-77-5
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve that portion of the
City of Arden Hills generally in the area bounded by Hamline
Avenue on the east, Interstate Highway 694 on the south, Inter-
state Highway 35-W on the west, and Trunk Highways 96 and 10
on the north by the installation of watermain extension, right-
of-way acquisition, street restoration, and necessary appur-
tenances, and to assess the benefitted property for all or a

portion of the cost of the illlprovement pursuant to Minn. Statutes
Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Minn. Statutes 1961).
NOW, 'l'HERBFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE crrY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILlS, MINNESOTA:
That the proposad improvement be referred to the City
Consulting Engineers for study and that they are instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed. advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement,
and the estimated cost of the illlprovement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman wingert and upon vote being
taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: All, and
the following voted against the same: NOne, whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
