RESOLUTION NO. 77-61
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE JOINT
POWERS AGREEMENT FOR THE SUBURBAN RAMSEY
COUNTY EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS BOARD AND
APPOINTING A DIRECTOR AND ALTERNATE DIRECTOR
TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hi I Is wishes to participate with
other local governmental jurisdictions i,n improving emergency
response and communlclltions capllbilltles of law enforcement, fIre
service and emergency medical services for all Its residents, lInd
WHEREAS, a joint and cooperative planning effort of al I
interested local governments In suburban Ramsey County has produced
a joint powers agreement that offers grellt potential for Improving
all aspects of citizen emergency notification and public safety
agency response through the effective use of radio and telephone
communications,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk Administrator be
authorized to sign the Joint Powers Agreement establishing the
Suburban Ramsey County Emergency Communications Board on behalf
oft h e City 0 f A rde n H I I Is, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Robert Tagtow be appointed
director and Charles Crichton be appointed alternate director to
rep'resent the City of Arden Hi lis.
