Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
August 8, 1977
A regular meeting of the Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, was held in the City Hall on August 8, 1977, at 7:30
o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Crepeall,Crl chton ,
Hanson, Wingert, Woollblrn
and the following were absent: none
The City Clerk Administrator presented to the council the
proposed assessment roll for Improvement No. P-SS-W-ST-75-l
prepared by her with the assistance of the City eonsulting engi-
neer as directed by the Council on June 13, 1977, and reported
that the assessment roll is now on file in her office and open
to public inspection.

then introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 77-44
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING
ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR
IMPROVEMENT NO. P-SS-W-ST-75-l
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Hills
that the proposed assessment roll for Improvement No. P-SS-W-
ST-75-l now on file and open to public inspection in the
office of the City Clerk Administrator, is approved, and the

Clerk Administrator is directed to publish and mail notice that
the Council will meet to consider the proposed assessment on
Augu~t 29. 1977. at the City Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in the
City of Arden Hills, at 8:30 o'clock p.m. The notice shall
state the date, time and place of the meeting, the general
nature of said improvement. the area proposed to be assessed,
the total cost of the improvement, that the proposed assessment
roll is on file with the Clerk Administrator, and that written
or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be con-
sidered. It sha~l be published once in the official newspaper
of the City at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall
be mailed to the owner of each parcel described in the assess-
ment roll. not less than two weeks prior to the date of said
meeting. For the purpose of such mailed notice. owners of
said parcels shall be those shown as such on the records of
the County Treasurer. Every property owner whose name does not
appear on such records (other than owners of property which is
tax exempt or is taxed on a gross earnings basis) shall be
deemed to have waived such mailed notice unless he has requested
in writing that the County Treasurer include his name on the
records for this purpose.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Woodburn
and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Crepeau,
Crlcbton, Hanson, Wingert, Woodburn
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
