RESOLUTION NO. 77-42
RESOLUTION APPROVING !977 LABOR AGREEMENT
WITH MINNESOTA TEAMSTERS PUBLIC & LAW ENFORCE~
MENT EMPLOYEES UNiON, LOCAL #320
.
WHEREAS, M.S.A. 179, Subd. 4 requires that the City of
Arden Hills and the Minnesota Teamsters Public & Law Enforcement
Empioyees Union, Local #320, as the exclusive representative of
the City's law Enforcement employees, enter Into a written contract
containing the agreed-upon terms and conditions of employment of
such employees, and
WHEREAS, representatives of the City and the Union have agreed
upon the terms and conditions of employment of such law Enforcement
employees for the year 1977, and a 1977 Labor agreement, embracing
such terms and conditions, has been prepared, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Arden Hills, by motion on
July H, 1977, unanimously approved the Labor Agreement between
the City of Arden Hills and Minnesota Teamsters Public & law Enforce-
ment Employees Union, local #320, and
WHEREAS, M.S.A. 179.70, Subd. 2, requires that the City imple-
ment the terms and conditions of such Agreement by means of a
Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Councl I of the
City of Arden HII!s that the 1977 labor Agreement between Arden
Hilisand the Minnesota Teamsters Public & Lsw Enforcement Employees
Un lon, Loca I #320 be and I t hereby I sin a II respects adopted and
approved in the form submittad, and the execution of the Agreement
by the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator of the City on July 29, 1977,
is hereby ratified and affirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the terms and conditions contained
In said Agreement be and they hereby are Incorporated herein by
reference and are made a part hereof as if they were fully set forth
herein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk-Administrator be and
sha hereby Is authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution to be filed with the Public Emp~oyment Relations
Board and to forward sn additional certified copy hereof to the
Minnesota Teamsters Public & law Enforcement Employees Union,
local 11320.
