RESOLUTION NO. 77-11
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING CONCEPT
OF SENATE FILE 103
WHEREAS, It Is far less costly to encourage citizens
to upgrade existing housing than it Is to government to
attempt to rennovate neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, It Is essential that the State stop
discouraging people from Improving their own property.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills
does hereby support the concept of Senate FI Ie 103 that
would put a moratorium on the taxing of home Improvements
as long as the square footage living area was not Increased
and the property Is five or more years old.
Passed by the City Counci I of Arden Hi lis, Minnesota this
24th day of February, 1977.
