RESOLUTION NO. 77-5
RESOLUTiON APPROVING LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR
POLICE CHiEF JAMES P. SEXTON FOR MEDICAL
REASONS
.
WHEREAS, Police Chief James P. Sexton has requested a leave
of absence for medical reasons, and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hit Is has received a fetter from
Dr. James P. Lillehei advising of the existence of medical reasons
for such leave,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLYED that the Councl i of the City
of Arden HI' Is approves a leave of absence to PolIce Chief Sexton
for permanent medical disabilities effecTive January 4, 1977, and
approves payment for vacation and sick leave which has accrued
through January 3, 1977.
BE ~T FURTHER RESOLYED, that It is the Intent of the City
Council of Arden Hills that this action In no way jeopardizes the-
disability benefits which are due to Chief Sexton, .nd if this
leave of absence is in any way improper, the resolution is null
and void_
