RESOLUTION NO. 80-65
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION
OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE
METROPOLITAN COUNCil FOR REVIEW
.
WHEREAS, the Metrop01itan land Planning Act requires
~oca~ governmental units to prepare comprehensive pijans and sub-
mit them to the Metropo!itan Counctl for review; and
WHEREAS, this plan entitled Comprehensive Development
Plan for Arden Hi I Is represents the response of the City of Arden
Hllijs to the requirements of the MetropolItan land Pijannlng Act;
and
WHEREAS, this plan was approved by the Arden Hills
Planning Commlsslon!on December 18, "980 following a publIc
hearing with required legal notice; and
WHEREAS, a preliminary pIal was sent to the Cities of
Shoreview, Rosevll: !e, New Br!gh'i"on iLld Mounds View, School Dos'rrlcts
No. 621 and 623, and Ramsey County for review and comment; and
WHEREAS, this p~an was considered and accepted, but not
adopted, by the City Council on Llecomber 29, 1980; and
WHEREAS, this pian shall bo transmitted to the Cities of
Shorevlew, Rosevll!a, New Brighton, nnd Mounds View, School Districts
No. 62! and 623, and Ramsey County concurrently with submission
to the Metropolitan Council for form" I review undel' the Hetropolltan
Land P~annlng Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE JT RESOl,VED by the City Councl I of
the City of Arden HIlls that the Clerk-Administrator Is authorized
and directed to submit this plan to the ChaIrman of the Metropolitan
Council for review under Section 473.175 of the Metropolitan Land
Planning Act.
