Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the
City Council of the city of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 27th day
of October, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p. m.
The following members were present: Mayor Crepeau and
Councilmen Woodburn, Wingert, Hanson and Crichton; and the
following were absent: None.
Councilman Wingert introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:
Resolution No. 80-55
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-80-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council
on September 8, 1980, the City Consulting Engineers have
prepared plans and specifications for Improvement No. SS-W-80-2
and have presented such plans and specifications to the Council
for approval.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The city Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause
to be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper,
and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids

upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement for Improvement No. SS-W-80-2 shall be published
as required by law, shall specify the work to be 'done, shall
call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work,
shall state that the bids will be received by the City Clerk
Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p. m. on November 10, 1980,
at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by
the city Clerk Administrator and City consulting Engineer, will
then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the
Council, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a cash
deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk
Administrator for ten percent (10%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoingnresolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Hanson and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All; and the
following voted against: None; ,whereupon said resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
