Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Counc:l.l
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reqular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held in the City Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in said City
on Monday, the 9th day of June, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.

introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:

RESOLU'l'ION RELA'rING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-79-1
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED' AND
ORDERING PREPARA'rION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No.
SS-W-P-ST-79-1 consisting of the installation of sanitary sewer,
wate:anain, bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter and
necessary appurtenances generally in the area of the Arden Lake
Knoll Plat located east of Hamline Avenue between County Road
F and Amble Road, and
WHEllEAS, the contract price for such improvement is
$, 39,'00;0,.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred
in the mak.1ng of said improvement amount to' $' S:,4DoS..oO ' so that
the total cost of the improvement will be $47,,4ll:lhU(J , and of
this cost the City will pay $ -0- as its Share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as followsl
1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $; 47;,4DoS..oO.
2. The City Clerk Administrator, t0ge1:her with the assis-
tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improve-

ment affected, without reqard t.o cash valuat.ion, as provided by
law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment. in
her office for public inspect.ion. The City Clerk Administrator
may arranqe for the assistance of the Data Processinq Division
of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed
assessment roll.
3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion
of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for
their further action and for their settinq of an assessment:
hearinq therefor.
The motion for the adoption of the f~~eqoinq resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Wi~gert ", and upon vote beinq
taken thereon, the followinq voted in favor thereof: :All
and the followinq voted aqainst the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
