Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hilh
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held in the City Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in said City
on Monday, the 9th day of June, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.

Councilman 'Cr:lehton introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-78-3
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
.
WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No.
SS-l'iT-P-ST-78-3 consisting of the construction of sanitary sewer,
watermain, bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm
drainage facilities, right-of-way acquisition and necessary
appurtenances in the area bounded by HaInline Avenue on the west,
Nursery Hill Lane on the north, I<arth Lake on the east, and
vacated S.T.H. 51 on the south, and
WHEREAS, the contract price for suoh improvement is
$ ,16.&433;.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred
in e mak:i.ng of said improvement amount to $55'.:619oJ.5 ' so that
the total cost of the improvement will be $~1L051.:15,' and of
this cost the City will pay $ -0- as Jots share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $; 2.11,.0;5;2: _1.6
2. The City Clerk Administrator, together with the assis-
tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against

every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improve-
ment affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided
by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in her office for pUblic inspection. The City Clerk Adminis-
trator may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing
Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the pro-
posed assessment roll.
3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion of
such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for their
further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing
there for.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Wingert
, and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofsAll

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
