RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO JOIN A CABLE
SERVtCE TERRITORY WITH CERTAlN ADJOIN-
ING MUNIClPALiTIES
WHEREAS. the City of Arden Hil Is is considering making
possIble )chs provision 0',' cable telev!sion services to its cI-;-lz",flSp

WHEREAS. Chapter 238 of the Minnesota State Laws has
authorized -;-he t4lnnGsot19 Cable Communlcs.tlons Board to specify
the procedures of franchising cable communications companies; and
WHEREAS, the MInnesota Cable, Communications Board has
required, In 4 MCAR 4.111, that a Cable Service Territory must be
approved by the Minnesota Cable Communications Board prior to any
franchising agreement; and
WHEREAS, tha approvs~ of a Cabls Service Territory does
not In any way bind the City to the a~ard of a franchise to ill
cable commu~ications company,
NOW, THEREFORE. BE iT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City ot
Arden Hlijls intends to Join in a Cable Service Territory with the

Lauderdale

Mounds View
New Brighton
North Oaks
Rosevllle
St. Anthony

BE iT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills
agrees to Its inClusion in a Cabie Service Territory proposal which
Includes the cities listed above, this proposal to be submitted
by the City of Rosevl!le to the Minnesota Cable Board.
Passed by the City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota
this iOth day of March, 1980.
